This page contains information on the terms and conditions that apply to all of your purchases from d2dfurniture.ie. Please read through them carefully before placing your order.

1 Delivery

Our fast and inexpensive delivery service means that you only pay 15 euros per delivery wherever you live in Ireland, no matter how much furniture you order. To keep the cost of this service so low some deliveries are carried out by a single driver. This driver will nearly always be able to deliver your furniture onto your property without any assistance (please let us know if access to your property is difficult). If assisted, the driver will be able to help further in moving furniture to a desired room in your home but he will use his discretion if he believes there is a risk of damage to property or a risk of injury.

Before delivery, you agree to notify us if

a) You require any assembly of your furniture on site, and make arrangements to pay any associated fees at the prices advertised on the D2D website

b) You live in a property where vehicular access will not be possible in a small lorry.

c) You live in a property where pedestrian access is only possible via flights of stairs

If we aren't informed of any of the above issues prior to delivery then this may result in a delivery being rescheduled to a later date

2 Returns

a) Unwanted Furniture

In accordance with European distance selling regulations you have a right to cancel within 7 days from the day you receive your furniture from us. All furniture to be returned must be in a perfect unused condition and we ask that it is wrapped in the original packaging. There are a few exceptions to the list of items that can be covered by this returns policy for common sense reasons (see 3 below). We will then issue a refund (see 4 below)

b) Damaged Furniture

All damage to furniture that has occurred during delivery should be reported in writing or verbally within 24 hours from the date/time you receive it. Don't worry about signing on delivery as this is only confirming that you have received the furniture you ordered, not that it is in a perfect condition. Damaged goods will be replaced free of charge.

c) Faulty Furniture

We will issue a replacement if any faults develops within 6 months from the time you receive your furniture, and after 6 months if you can provide details that make it clear that it is a valid fault arising from a defect in the furniture

3) Unreturnable Items

Mattresses and divan beds can only be returned if they are unopened. Mattresses and divan beds which have been opened and slept on cannot be returned. Partially assembled flat pack furniture cannot be returned unless it is faulty. Any bespoke items or special orders for furniture not usually advertised or sold on our website cannot be returned unless they are damaged or faulty

4) Refunds

You will receive a refund for any furniture that you return to us (that is not going to be replaced) because it is unwanted, damaged or faulty in accordance with 2a), 2b) or 2c) above within 30 days. If the furniture is being returned exclusively in accordance with 2a) above, then we will deduct a fee of 30 euros for the cost of transporting the furniture back to our warehouse.

5) Other Terms and Conditions

a) All prices include Irish VAT and VAT receipts can be issued to Irish businesses so that they can make any VAT claims to the Irish VAT authorities

b) We try to ensure that all information and details on our website are accurate. However, any typographical, clerical or other error or omission in any sales literature, quotation, price list, acceptance of offer, invoice or other documentation or information issued by d2dfurniture.com shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of d2dfurniture.com

c) We accept no responsibility for any loss suffered which may arise from reliance on the information or materials contained in this website or other external websites which may be linked to this website from time to time. Any link between this website and any other website is not to be construed in anyway that d2dfurniture.com endorse the proprietor persons or organisations featured on or the content of such other website.

d) The copyright and all other rights in this website are owned by d2dfurniture.com Permission is granted for the downloading and temporary storage of one or more pages of this website for the sole purpose of viewing on a personal computer or monitor, but must not be used for any commercial purpose. The reproduction, re-transmission or permanent storage of the contents of this website are prohibited without the prior written consent of d2dfurniture.com

e) If you wish to create a link between this website and any other website you must obtain our prior written permission which we may withhold without giving reasons or make subject to any conditions we require at our absolute discretion.

f) These terms are governed by the laws of the UK courts, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.

g) Any variation to these terms (including any special terms and conditions agreed between the parties) is inapplicable unless agreed in writing by the parties.

h) Personal information will not be passed on to any third party for any reason unconnected with your purchase through d2dfurniture.com
