FAQ's Specific to the Dakota and Tampica range
How can I place my order?
You can place your order through our website or by telephoning our orderline
on 048 9082 5990.
What is the online order process?
Simply browse our catalogue and once you have decided what you would like to
purchase, click on "ADD TO CART". You can then continue shopping and
add additional items to your shopping 'cart' if you like. When you have finished
go to your shopping 'cart' and click "CHECK OUT". Enter your details
and your credit/debit card information and send them to us via our secure 3D
server.
How will I know that my order has been successful?
Immediately after ordering, you will be taken to an order confirmation page
which will summarise the order for you. You will also be sent 2 emails within
24 hours of placing your order. The first will be an automatically generated
receipt. The second will be from our dispatch department giving you the target
dispatch date we have assigned to your order.
Can I track the progress of my order?
We will keep you updated about your order at all times. However, you can also
use your email address and a password that we will send you after you have used
our site for the first time to log into your account and track the status of
your order.
Is it safe for me to give my credit/debit card details online?
Yes. We use the latest 3D secure technology endorsed by the major credit card companies and banks. This means that you will have to use a special four digit pin number when you order from us in addition to the usual security checks and encryption.
Which methods of payment do you accept?
We accept most major credit and debit cards (including laser cards). We will
also accept cheque payments. If paying by cheque please be advised that your
order will not be dispatched until the cheque has cleared which can add an extra
5-7 days to the wait time.
Are all your prices inclusive of VAT?
Yes, all our prices include Irish VAT and our Irish VAT number is included on
all receipts.
Is the furniture fully assembled?
Every product in our catalogue has full details of whether it is flat packed
or fully assembled as we sell a wide range of both. Even if furniture requires
assembly then we can do this in your home for a small additional charge.
Do you have a showroom?
Yes, our showroom is located at 34-36 Dundrod Road, Crumlin, Co. Antrim BT29
4ST, approximately 1 mile from the Nutts Corner roundabout. Due to our extensive
range of products, it is not possible to have every item available for viewing
at all times. However, we do normally have at least a few items from each collection
available for viewing to enable customers to see the colour/finish and quality
of our products .
Can you send me a brochure?
Our website is our brochure. We have deliberately chosen not to print and distribute brochures as we are constantly updating our products and we can make cost savings this way which are passed directly onto you, the customer. If you require any further information on specific products then please contact us.
What is your returns policy?
In the rare event that you either do not like your furniture or there is a problem
with it, we must be notified in writing within 7 days of delivery. After we
have acknowledged your request, we will collect or replace the furniture as
soon as possible which should take the same amount of time as your initial delivery.
Any refunds due will be issued within 30 days. If furniture is being returned
because it is simply unwanted and it is returned in a perfect unused condition,
then we will issue a full refund minus a charge of 30 euros for transporting
the furniture back to our warehouse.
All returns should be returned in their original packaging and please do not introduce any new packaging unless agreed by ourselves. All returns must be collected by our own delivery staff
Please note, we cannot accept the return of the following items:
1. Mattresses and divan beds unless unopened and in their original packaging.
2. Any partially assembled flat pack furniture that is not faulty
3. Any item that has been made specific to your requirements e.g.. special painted
finishes or any item that we have ordered in especially for you that we don't
normally advertise or sell on our website

I have already bought some items from the NEXT Dakota range. Will the D2D Dakota furniture match this furniture perfectly?
Because of the variations in the colour of natural wood products we cannot guarantee that the D2D Dakota furniture will match any Dakota furniture from another retailer. In particular, NEXT have recently changed their Dakota range from a solid mango product to a product made from a mixture of solid wood and veneer. This means that our furniture is less likely to match NEXT furniture bought in the last year, but likely to match NEXT furniture bought more than a year ago.
I have seen an item in the NEXT Dakota Range but I can't find it in your catalogue?
Please call the orderline if you need to know whether we will be adding a specific piece to our Dakota range, and if so by when. We do not stock any Dakota bathroom furniture.
Is the Dakota furniture assembled?
The furniture is fully assembled but the legs of the dining tables and console tables will have to be attached after delivery. This is a simple task that should take 5-10 minutes. You will also have to attach the handles to any drawers in your furniture. Again, this should be a simple task that takes a few minutes.
