Diego Extending Dining SetIf you were a gifted designer and you had to make a compact oak dining table that extends to twice its original size, you might make a table like the Diego. A clever mechanism enables the table to do exactly that, and the table top is also able to retract neatly by folding in two. If you were a really gifted designer you might then add a walnut inlay in the centre of the table and design four great looking chairs to go with the table, and coordinate the set further by changing the colour of one of the vertical rungs in each chair to walnut.
