Boston Walnut Dining SetFor a set that is so different, the Boston is remarkable because it seems to make such a big impression on so many people that see it! You are seated higher up at the Boston table as the chairs are basically stools, and there is no doubt that sitting in this elevated position is very satisfying. Cushioned upholstery makes the stools very comfortable indeed. On the table, the standard of workmanship evident is hard to believe on a set of this price. Both the oak and walnut versions of the table are finished in a veneer that is largely plain, but also features some tasteful details that clearly require high levels of expertise. The table extends from round to oval (107cm-150cm) so that it can seat 6 comfortably. The Boston walnut table would be a welcome addition to any dining room with other dark cherry, dark oak or mahogany furniture. |
